Public Policy Committee

The Public Policy Committee leads the Chamber’s advocacy work on behalf of businesses in the Greater Waterbury Region. The committee reviews state and local legislative issues, helps shape the Chamber’s legislative and municipal priorities, and keeps members informed on public policy developments that affect employers, job growth, and the regional economy.

The committee’s work supports the Chamber’s broader advocacy efforts in areas including taxes and spending, workforce and education, manufacturing, economic development, healthcare, regulatory reform, transportation and infrastructure, tourism, public safety, and energy and environment. For the Chamber’s latest policy updates, testimony, and current legislative and municipal agendas, please visit our Legislative Advocacy page.
