The Waterbury Regional Chamber is dedicated to strengthening the regional economy by serving its members as a network, resource and advocate. As the premier voice of business in the region, the Chamber's mission is to create strategic partnerships and alliances between businesses and their markets and to speak and act on their behalf on matters of public interest.
Our Region includes Beacon Falls, Bethlehem, Cheshire, Middlebury, Naugatuck, Oakville, Oxford, Prospect, Southbury, Thomaston, Waterbury, Watertown, Wolcott and Woodbury
Supporting Equal Opportunities and Inclusion The Waterbury Regional Chamber has served as a network, resource, and advocate for the business community in Greater Waterbury for more than 130 years. Over that time we have supported and promoted the city and surrounding towns as outstanding places to live and work. We have strived to help anyone, regardless of their gender, race, religion, ethnicity or sexual orientation – who creates jobs and economic opportunities for all who live in the region. Conversations regarding discrimination, racism and economic inequality must happen, and for that reason the Chamber has joined more than 400 other chambers and trade associations in supporting the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s new Equality of Opportunity Initiative to address inequality of opportunity through education, employment and entrepreneurship.
The Waterbury Regional Chamber and our affiliates, the Naugatuck Chamber, Southbury Chamber, and Watertown Oakville Chamber, remain committed and determined to work toward a society that is fully open and inclusive, and provides equal opportunity for everyone. We look forward to furthering these conversations with our staff, our members, and the business community, and to creating opportunities for training in diversity and inclusion.
